She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Benoit and Maggie Benoit; and her siblings, Mary Haley, Leona Melanson, Theresa Glova, Elva Pajeska, Arthur and Donnie.
She is survived by: her husband Mike; her brother John (Elizabeth Benoit); her niece Nada Ciavarella; and her goddaughter Carol Macleod of Antigonish. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
