It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Afonso (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joaquim Pedro Afonso. She is survived by: her children, Albert (Maria Leonor) and Rosa Coquim (Joao); her grandchildren, Jason (Melanie), Amanda (Carlos), Matthew (Alyssa), Adam (Michelle) and Sabrina (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Sebastian, Ashton and Remy; and her sisters, Neusa (late Anibal), Cidalia (late Amaro) and Rosa (Hilario). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
