In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jose Couto; and her children, Maria Jose (Manuel), Lucia (late Mariano), Cidalia (Manuel) and Joe (Tom).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7).
