It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Hornby (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Hornby; her brother Claudio Cereser; and her niece Jennifer Connors. She is survived by: her children, Laura Arnold (Terry) and Michael Hornby (Meagan); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Mack), Cameron, Kyle (Eunity), Cassidy, Morley and Makena; and her siblings, Rita Connors (Jerry) and Frank Cereser (Lucy). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
