Marija Saric Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marija Saric (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marija Saric to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrija Stipanovic and Mare Stipanovic; her husband Stanko Saric; her stepmother Dragica Stipanović; and her siblings, Janko Stipanovic (late Ana), Dragica Stančić (late Antun), Anka Blažević (late Ilija) and Nikola Stipanovic (Viktorija).
She is survived by: her children, Angela Biljan (Stjepan), Jadranka'Audrey'Savelli (Anthony) and Mike Saric; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Ivana), Robert Biljan, Richard (Ellis), David Savelli and Marko Saric; her great grandchildren, Eva, Luka Biljan, Klara and Julian Savelli; and her sister Dana Čosić (Pero). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Croatian Parish (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery (681 Mud St E, Hamilton, ON L8J3B8).
