He is survived by: his children, Marlize Monaco-Millar (Gord), Ellen Thornton (Jim) and Richard (Carole); and his grandchildren, Shaylia Fennama (Neal), Penny Ann Lupton (Ken), Lisa, Fennema (Colin), Jim Thornton (Amanda), Richie Vanderlubbe, Christopher Vanderlubbe (Jessie), Jessica Millar and James Millar.
