He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao and Maria. He is survived by: his wife Fatima; his children, Joel, Mabila, Marilia, Elia, Paul and Renata; his brother Carlos; and his friend Portugal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, cousins.
