He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Townsend and Gwendolyn Townsend; and his wife Mary Jean. He is survived by: his children, LeeAnn Mayotte (Shawn) and Mark Townsend Jr.; his grandchildren, Zachary, MacKenzie and Kennedy; his sister Dr. Marta Townsend; his sibling-in-law Willy Hemlow; and his friends, Gary, Phil and Joe.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue after Mark's avid love of Dachshunds.
