She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ilecic and Mary Ilecic. She is survived by: her friend Christine; her grandchildren, Edwin, Charles and Clare; and her sister Jane Leach.
A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1T1). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home (36 Lake Ave Dr, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3).
Her preferred charity is Médecins Sans Frontières "Doctors Without Borders".
