It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Dora (Sheppard) Tompkins (Hamilton, Ontario) is shared. Mary Dora, born on April 11, 1936, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sheppard and Helen Sheppard; her siblings, Anne, Helen and Donald; and her husband Kevin Tompkins.

She is survived by: her brothers, Frank, Alan and Ross; her children, Joanne (Alan), Susan Hudson (Craig), Sean (Cindy) and Clare (Scott); and her grandchildren, Myles Hudson, James Hudson [Ellie MacGarry], Evan Hudson, Teagan West, Tasmin West and Rhys Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (620 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W1B3).
