Mathew Richard Doucette Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathew Richard Doucette (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Mathew Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mathew Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his parents, Rita DiMatteo and Richard Doucette; and his brother Daniel (Nilou Biganian). He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
