He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Berberick and Shirley Berberick; his brother-in-law Daryl Gourlay; and his mother-in-law Doris Gourlay. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Brandon (Jenn), Stephanie (James) and Matthew; his grandchildren, Lux, Jack, Willow, Ruby and Bo; his siblings, Joanne Bobiak (Tares) and Dennis (Isobel); and his father-in-law Willis Gourlay. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Brothers and Sisters of Hamilton, a cause he felt very strongly about.
