He was predeceased by: his father Vito Rizzi. He is survived by: his children, Nicholas and Serena; his siblings, Philip, Frank Rizzi and Rosa Rizzo; and his mother Serafina Rizzi. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church (620 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W1B3). A reception will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2).

Donations can be made to the heart and stroke foundation or the Juravinski Hospital in his memory.
