He was predeceased by: his father Mikolaj Pona. He is survived by: his wife Zofia Pona; his grandchildren, Daniela Staszak (Mariusz), Pawel, Magdalena, Matthew, Michael, Alexander, Arthur (Brittany), Christopher (Alexandria), Martin, Gregory and Emily Pona; and his great grandchildren, Marcin, Daniel Staszak, Konrad, Lukas and Kasper Pona. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
