As Milanka departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Milanka. Though Milanka may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dusan. She is survived by: her daughter Branka; her grandsons, Luca and Adam Palermo; her daughter Svetlana; and her grandchildren, Christian and Victoria Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the L. G. Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa St N, Hamilton, ON L8H3Z2). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church (1415 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8H2W6).
