He is survived by: his spouse Nevenka; his son Joe (Lory); his niece Maca (Ivica Volovic); and his prijatelji Saic.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mirko's memory may be made to the family, who will distribute them equally amongst Holy Cross Croatian Parish, The Cancer Assistance Program, and The Bright Run for Breast Cancer.
