He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Blackman; his granddaughter Maya Oppermann; his siblings, Wajid, Wahid, Walter, Sophie, Lucille and Parbatie (Babsie); his nieces and nephews, Rudolph, John, Gloria, James, Patrick, Sandra and Grace; and his great-niece Marcia Willings.
