It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil MacNeil (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara MacNeil; his siblings, Murdoch, Norman, Angus, Duncan and Margaret; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Rutledge, Pete Payne and Bob Almon.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene, Michael and Neil; his grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Lauren and Jenna; his sister Dorthy "Dottie" Almon; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Payne and Nicky Rutledge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
