She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lauréal Génier and Gisèle Génier (late Now); her husband Darrell Smith; her sons, Jeremy (Shareh) and Martin (Marissa); her grandchildren, Malcolm, Saoirse, Jackson and Émilie; and her siblings, Maurice Génier, Luc Génier (Louise), Louise Thomson (Tyler) and Ginette Génier (Louis Lapierre). She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
