We bid farewell to Olga Hanc (Hamilton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 20, 2025. Olga touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her parents, Joseph Stanko and Matilda Stanko (Mala Mati); and her brothers, Tonc, Ignac, Slavko and Stefan.
She is survived by: her children, Irene, Jeff Weir, Rose and Cris Done-Burcea; her sibling Marica Fras; her cousins, Mirko Zorko (Amalia), Joe and Majda Stanko; her sisters-in-law, Mary (late Rudy), Agnes, Mate, Sabina and Mirko; Easter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home (36 Lake Ave Dr, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church (125 Centennial Pkwy N, Hamilton, ON L8E1H8).
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church, McNally House Hospice (https://www.mcnallyhousehospice.com) in Grimsby or Breast Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
