He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelina and Olimpio Mesquita; and his brother Olegario Mesquita (Teresa). He is survived by: his children, Olimpio Mesquita (Kriszta), Eva Maria Mesquita Costa (Orlando) and Lorinda Maclean Steward (William); his grandchildren, Amanda Mesquita, Alexandre Mesquita Costa (Maria Jose), Andrew Mesquita and Gabriel Mesquita Costa (Carolina); his great grandchild Gabriel Avila Costa; his sibling's children, Jorge Mesquita, Grace Chiodo (Camillo) and Helen Melo (Dimas); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paulo George, Melissa, Claudio and Marie Christine.
In lieu of flowers the family and extended family would appreciate donations to De Mazenod Door Outreach.
