Omar Gregory Sloan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Omar Gregory Sloan (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Arlette Sloan; his son Greg; and his brother Neil "Butch" Sloan. He is survived by: his children, Lloyd (Monica), Michael (Julie) and Rochelle (Larry); his grandchildren, Brian, Steven (Amanda), David (Meaghen), Sarah (Dan), Daniel (Michele), Darren, Allan (Shannyn), Crystal, Lloyd (Stephanie) and Josh (Megan); and his siblings, Robert (Lynn), Jim (Joanie), Shelley, Carol, Judy and Larry. He is also survived by his extended family, nieces and nephews, and a lifetime's worth of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Regina Mundy Catholic Church (631 Mohawk Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C1X7).
