He was predeceased by: his parents, Milan and Maria; his sister Andrea; his brother-in-law Matej; and his nieces, Laura and Nicole.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (90 Garner Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9G3K9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
