It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Douglas Chapman (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl. He is survived by: his sons, Chad and Mike (Sue); his grandson Connor; and his siblings, Tommy (Sharon), Cheryl (Randy), Nancy (Gerry) and Donny (Lynn).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
