Paul Apostolos Gountzounis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Apostolos Gountzounis of Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Panagiotis Gountzounis and Constantina [Raptis] Gountzounis; his brothers, Peter, Christos and Demetrios [Omorphoula]; and his nephew Panagiotis Gountzounis.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Maria Gountzounis, Dina and Nick Stathakos; his nephew Vangelis [Vasiliki] Gountzounis; and his nieces, Maria Gountzounis [Yiannis] and Dina Gountzounis [Yiannis]. He is also survived by grandnephews and grandnieces, his cousin's family in Canada, his godchildren, as well as many relatives and their families and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Dads name, would be appreciated by the family.
