He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josa, Slavica and Slavko; and his sister-in-law Milka Mesic (late Tom). He is survived by: his wife Mary Matesic; his sons, Mike Matesic, Nick Matesic (Jeannie) and Peter Matesic (Christina); his siblings, Mary, Katica and Nevenka; and his sibling-in-law Mile Boric (Anka). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
