He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Allard; and his siblings, Ernie, Vivian, Marie and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his children, John Allard (Lorraine) and Erin Kovacsik (Randy); his grandchildren, Heather (Jordon), Bailey (Rob), Shelby (Shayna), Nick (Aimie), Jordan, Bryanah and Morgan (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Kayden, Logan, Emersyn and Grayson.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
