He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Cor, Hans and Marieke; and his parents, Abraham and Margreet.
He is survived by: his significant other Sjoukje Hadewey VanderWey (Sharon); his children, Abraham (Jennifer), Jane (Bill Kooistra), Marietta (Rod DeKoter) and Alden (Heather); his grandchildren, Alanna, Philip, Stephanie, Leah (Ryan), Joel (Julie), Meghan (Andrew), Adam, Simon, Elias, Raymon and James; his sisters-in-law, Joan Drost and Ank VanderWey; Rielle, Cole, Inara and Axel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (2265 Mountainside Dr, Burlington, ON L7B1B6). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
