He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Kim (Steve Fortman) and Peter (Janice); his granddaughters, Krystal Fortman (Kamil) and Olivia Van Ryn; his brother John Van Ryn; and his brother-in-law Colin (Diane). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
