He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his parents, Peter Mae and Anna Mae; and his sister-in-law Marjorie (Bob). He is survived by: his brother John (Helen); his sibling's children, John, Stephen and Cheryl; and his siblings-in-law, David (Kim), Jackie (Joe), Mel (Tammy), Susie (Mark) and Greg (Lisa). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
