She was predeceased by: her husband Irvin; her son Brian; and her siblings, Wilfred Truesdale, James Simons and Muriel Newport.

She is survived by: her daughter Marg Murphy; her daughter-in-law Liz of Kamloops; her grandchildren, Kristen, Michael and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Brielle, Lucas and Oscar; and her sister Ruth Vanfleet.

In her memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
