Pietra (Avarello) Collura Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 91, Pietra (Avarello) Collura (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pietra (Avarello) Collura to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her siblings-in-law, Joe, Maria, Domenica and Margaret; and also, Charlie, Vincenza, Calogera, Salvatore, Luigi, Theresa and Alfonso.
She is survived by: her daughters, Grace (late Frank), Maryann (John) and Sandra; her grandchildren, Marie, Vanessa (Adam), Miranda (Steven), Daniela, Joseph (Vanessa), Adrian, Marcus (Alexa) and Fabian; her great grandchildren, Max, Eva, Ashton, Aria, Autumn and Franco; and her siblings, Sam (Joanne), Anna (late Dominic) and Pietro. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (305 E 37th St, Hamilton, ON L8V4B5).
