He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvana Hachey; his parents, Sylvan Hachey and Malvina Hachey; and his siblings, Simeon, Adelard, Vincent (Lise), Anthony (Bessie), Louisa, Cecilia and Eugenie.
He is survived by: his children, Barry, Shawna, Steve, Kimberly, Mike and Laura Hachey; his grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Lise-Ann (Mark), Lyndon (Anne-Sophie), Quinn (Jonathan), Adam and Sarah; his great grandchild Abbott; and his sisters, Dorilla and Geralda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
