It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reed Frederick Simpson (Hamilton, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Florence; his former wife Patricia; and his siblings, Ralph and Leta.

He is survived by: his son Ralph; his sisters, Jean and Norma; his sons, Mark Simpson (Carol), Fred Simpson (Janice), Tom O'Connor (Cathy) and Tim O'Connor (Lynn); his child-in-law Zuzana; his grandchildren, Garyk, Andrew, Matthew, Amy (Justin Weresch), Sarah (Bryan Barrett), Mitchell and Kaylie; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Bennett, Banks and Collins; and his wife Rose. He is also survived by his many extended family, and by all of his friends.
