He was predeceased by: his parents, Pascal Richard and Mary-Louise Richard; and his siblings, Claude, Louis, Guy, Vincent, Nelson and Joseph.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie D'Amico (Pete), Linda Serre (Pat) and Tim Richard (Sharon); his grandchildren, Laura Serre, Adam Serre (Jessica), Jaclyn Serre (Rob), Heather Stribbell (Steve), Matthew D'Amico (Denise), Ashlyn Yood (Nate) and Aidan Richard; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Kayla, Logan, Norah, Matteo, Luca and Kyden; his siblings, Patsy Smith, Phyllis Dalbello (Angie), Paulette Noble, Ron Richard (Cindy) and Della Richard; and his close friends, Bill and Katrina Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
