It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Howard (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Howard and Muriel Howard. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly; his children, Michelle (Robert) and Shawn (Christina); and his grandchildren, Emma and Ethan. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If so desired, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
