Vallance Patrick wrote a sympathy message

“Sincere condolences to all the Family and to Denise in the passing of Ric. Aside from the many attribute that have been noted in the announcement, Rick was a solid and loyal Union man who stood up for his co-workers. I am sure that all are finding a silence and emptiness with this loss: if so, may this be a reminder of the music and spirit he brought to this Life. Val Patrick”
