It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Orville Hammond (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Joan Hammond; his parents, Fannie Hammond and Wesley Hammond; and his siblings, Dean, Lois, Inez, Harold and Ron.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce Hammond (Joan) of Calgary, Alberta and Barbara Deehan (Tom) of Stoney Creek, Ontario.; his granddaughters, Sheena, Kelsey (Tim), Meaghan (Brendan), Krista (David), Andrea (Gary) and Kimberly (Joey); and his sibling Dorell Brightwell (Harry).
