We bid farewell to Rick Alan De Merchant (Hamilton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 23, 2025 at the age of 57. Rick Alan De touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Perley. He is survived by: his wife Silvana; his son Michael; his mother June De Merchant (Parks); his sisters, Cheryl Lafrenière (Marc) and Ivy Biacsi; his sisters-in-law, Josie Huynh (Dan) and Mary Cascagnette (Ron); his parents-in-law, Angelo and Maria Diliberto; and also Erica. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of All Souls Roman Catholic Church (21 Barton St W, Hamilton, ON L8L1A2).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Liver Canada in Rick's memory.
