Though Rita Mae may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Soboski and Peggy Soboski; and her husband Donald Cobb. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Cobb; her grandsons, Noel, Dante and Simon; and her siblings, Eileen (James Murphy) and Joseph Soboski. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
