She was predeceased by: her siblings, Leo, Aldo (Violet), Margaret and Sarah (Jim); and her parents, Angelo Cavasin and Theresa Cavasin.
She is survived by: her niece Patricia (Don Imes); her nephews, Paul (Sandra) and Joe; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kailey, Connor, Kristen, Matthew, Emily, Katie and Andrew.
In leu of flowers the family is asking that a Donations in Rita's memory can be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
