He is survived by: his spouse Aveleigh; his children, David (Lynn) and Jean Byrnes; and his grandchildren, Nicole Ritter (Josh), Michelle Stribbell (Johnnie), Nathan Byrnes (Natalie), John Cathcart (Nicole), Ryan Byrnes (Sarah), Laurel Gavran (Tomislav), Graham Byrnes and Logan Byrnes (Riley).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Our Saviour the Redeemer (25 Lake Ave S, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
