He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Erdman and Elva Erdman; his parents-in-law, Vincent and Olga Sciarra; and his brother Richard "Sonny" Salciccioli (Carol).

He is survived by : his wife Julie (Sciarra); his son Matthew (Marina); his grandchild Tatum; his sibling Gayle Ford (late Mike Ford); his nieces and nephews, Derek, Andrea and Scott; and also, Elaine, André, Emma, Vivienne, Lynda, Leah and Natalie.

A celebration of life will take place at St. John the Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020, at 10:00a. m. Due to the COVID-19 regulations, we respectfully request that only family and close friends attend the Celebration of Life as church capacity is limited.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Bob Erdman Scholarship Fund at Cathedral High School.

“I worked with Bob at Newman and Matthew knew my son Cody (for basketball). Bob and I attend the same mass on Saturdays at Incarnation. We would chat often and he always spoke so highly of his beloved wife and his love for his son went unmatched! Then he was able to welcome his beautiful grandchild and he was so happy to visit with his sons family! Bob had a great sense of humour and kept us entertained in and out of the staffroom! He was so faithful. He will be missed. God bless you all!”
