Robert John Pocius Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert John Pocius (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Robert John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert John. Though Robert John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynda Pocius; his children, Stephanie Irvine (Richard) and Bob Pocius (Mary); his grandchildren, Alex, Izzy Pocius and Poppy Irvine; his sisters, Pat Piotrowski (Richard) and Margie LaRose; and his mother Patricia. He was also cherished by 5 siblings and had many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins.

In 2011, Robert successfully received a kidney donation from his daughter and would appreciate donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, in memoriam.
