He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sr. Springstead and Anne Springstead; his wife Doreen; and his brothers, Jerry (Doreen) and Ted (Doreen).
He is survived by: his children, Quinn and Andrea Springstead; his grandchildren, Brooke and Quinn; and his sister Carol Sauers (Leon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "william J. Markey Chapel" (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2).
