He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Young; his close friend Marion McIsaac; and his sibling Beverley Cargill (late Victor). He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Lynda Cargill, Dale Byers (Jack), Helen Lemon (Craig) and Burris Ormsby; Leslie Byers (Jay) and Lucy McKee-Byers.
