She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Gillis. She is survived by: her son Stephen; her sister Dolores (late Joe); her sisters-in-law, Dot (late Leo) and Verna (late Gord); and her siblings, Mary (John), Edna (Bernie), Kaye (Bill), Helen (Gerald), Jim (Shirley), Peter (Mary), Larry (Sue), Gerald and Florence.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory to Liver Canada would be deeply appreciated.
