With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Santa (Carmela) Sgreccia (Hamilton, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Santa left this world on November 24, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Quinto; and also, Cleofe (Armando), Temisto, Adolfo (Rita) and Amedeo.
She is survived by: her children, Fernando (Nancy), Giannina (Dino Toscani), Tina (Angelo Lolli) and Danny (Laura); her grandchildren, Michael, Cinzia, Dean, Tanya, Terry, Nadia, Joseph, Cristina, Diana, George, Joshua, Adrian, Keisha, Angelina and Nicolas; her brother Mario (Attilio); and her sisters-in-law, Teresa, Leandra and Elvira. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish (63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek, ON L8J2W9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
