It is with sadness that the passing of Santo Bertoni (Hamilton, Ontario) is shared. Santo, born on November 1, 1936, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Santo will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Santo by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Santo is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Santo’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio and Rosaria. He is survived by: his wife Francesca; and his son Francesco.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel Ltd. (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic Church (38 Emerson St, Hamilton, ON L8S2X3).
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) would be appreciated by the family.
