“One day, Mom and I were chatting (not easy, with her dealing with dementia), when she made the comment "No one has ever bought me a teddy bear". Suffice to say, as someone who had received his first teddy bear from her at birth, I wasn't going to let that pass, and by 11 am the next day, this beauty by the name of Baxter arrived, and the two of them (especially in the hospital) were inseperable. I have no doubt, that he made her final days more comfortable.”
